NFT Distributions let you give NFTs to your customers without the need of having a wallet or holding any crypto. After a customer registers his email and buys certain product that you will configure, he will receive an email with instructions to claim the NFT. NFTs are minted whenever a customer claim it using a Xaman wallet.
To create an NFT distribution you need to set:
- Distribution Name: Is how you will identify the NFT distribution and also the name that each minted NFT will have.
- NFT Image: Is the image of each minted NFT.
- Type of Distribution: When do customers receive the NFT claiming email. For now, we only send the email after the customer purchases some product that belongs to the distribution
- Supply: Is the amount of available NFTs from each distribution. If you set the supply as 20, only 20 customers can claim the NFT. It can happen that the claiming email is sent to more than 20 users, but only the first 20 to claim it will be able to get it.
- Apply to: Here you will configure which products or collections will be required to purchase for users that want to claim the NFT.
Creating an NFT Distribution
As you can see at the end of the video, we choose to create a campaign associated to the just created distribution but we didn't created yet. You can create the campaign later following this instructions
Token-gating Campaign
After creating your distribution, you can choose to also create a token-gating campaign, which will enable some discount or locked product to the NFT distribution holders. Instructions here
NFT Distribution in the storefront
If you already added the Amora Block to your theme, now you can go to the product page of some product from the distribution you just created and you will see the NFT Distribution widget:
Claiming Email
Customers that register their email in the product page widget and purchase the product, will receive an email like this:

Whenever your customers click the call to action within the claiming email, they will be redirected to a page that looks like this:
Customers will be able to claim the NFT without paying any XRP gas fees, Amora will keep the NFT custody but customers will be able to proof ownership of the NFT connecting their wallet, this works because every time a customer claims an NFT, Amora mints it saving the customer wallet address in the NFT metadata. Here an example of a claimed NFT:
Customers can decide to take custody of the NFT. They need to have 12 XRP in their wallet in order that the NFT transfer is successful. Customers need to go to the claiming page url that they received on the email after the purchase to ask for the NFT custody:
